Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Do I have to be a Church member to attend?
    No. Anyone single may attend. Note that most participants will be in the older YSA and mid-single adult age range (the mid-single age range observed by the Potomac Ward is 31 to 55). All divorces must be final!
  2. How can I obtain additional information once I register?
    Participants will receive an email with additional information approximately one month before the conference.
  3. Do I have to attend all conference activities?
    No. However, conference organizers cannot reduce the registration fee if you cannot attend all activities.
  4. Does the conference have a Facebook page?
    Yes, it does. Go here. Feel free to invite your friends and others to the conference and to the Facebook page. In addition, use the wall on the Facebook page to share messages and communicate with other conference participants.
  5. Are accommodations provided?
    No. However, a special conference rate has been negotiated with the Crystal City Hilton for $89/night (before tax and fees). Click here to book a room at that rate. If you are interested in finding someone to share hotel costs, feel free to post a message on the wall of the conference Facebook page.
